The Master of Architecture is a two (2) year full-time taught programme. The acquisition and advancement of knowledge is through studio-based learning, based on critique sessions, seminars and one-to-one tutorials, combined with and classroom-based course. The programme is accredited by the Boards of Architect Malaysia (LAM) with exemptions from Professional Exam part II. This programme is equivalent to architecture programmes offered in the United Kingdom and Australia.

Candidates need to complete a total of 62 credit hours of coursework. The total credit hours include program core and specialization courses (59 credit hours), and an elective course (3 credit hours).

Admission and Entry Requirements

A Bachelor of Science of Architecture degree from UiTM or any equivalent recognized institutions of Higher Learning, with exemptions from LAM Part I with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.50; AND had obtained a minimum grade point of 2.67 for design course at the final semester; OR

A Bachelor of Science of Architecture degree from UiTM or any equivalent recognized institutions of Higher Learning, with exemptions from LAM Part I with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.00; AND had obtained a minimum grade point of 2.67 for design course at the final semester; AND working experience in an Architectural Firm or similar field for a minimum of six (6) months after obtaining the degree; OR

A Bachelor of Science of Architecture degree from UiTM or any equivalent recognized institutions of Higher Learning, with exemptions from LAM Part I with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.70 to 2.99; AND working experience in an Architectural Firm or similar field for a minimum of twelve (12) months after obtaining the degree; OR

A Bachelor of Science of Architecture degree from UiTM or any equivalent recognized institutions of Higher Learning, with exemptions from LAM Part I with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.50 to 2.69; AND working experience in an Architectural Firm or similar field for a minimum of twenty-four (24) months after obtaining the degree.

All eligible candidates must pass the interview and portfolio review.
