Corporate Communication Unit (UKK)
Introduction
The Communication and Corporate Unit of the Faculty of Built Environment (FBE) or Fakulti Alam Bina (FAB) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the management of official events, publications, public relations, and media affairs. Furthermore, this unit plays a pivotal role in the dissemination of official and up-to-date information to FAB members and the public through email communications, various social media platforms, and FAB’s official website, ensuring that this process is conducted ethically and effectively.

Corporate Task

MEDIA RELATIONS AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT
Responsible for managing and coordinating the dissemination of official faculty information through the website, social media platforms, and external media channels. This role involves preparing press releases, securing media coverage, and updating digital content to achieve strategic communication objectives.

BRANDING AND CORPORATE SOUVENIRS
Responsible for overseeing the corporate identity of the Faculty of Built Environment by utilising official logos, visual design elements, and promotional materials. Accountable for the preparation and standardisation of souvenirs, as well as the implementation of branding strategies under UiTM guidelines.

EVENT AND PROTOCOL MANAGEMENT
Plans, coordinates, and executes protocols and logistics for official faculty events. This includes vetting event scripts, VIP invitations, protocol, and standard operating procedure programme schedules, as well as providing communication support throughout the event.

INFORMATION, PUBLICITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Facilitates efficient and courteous customer service, which encompasses the management of official inquiries. Furthermore, it is tasked with disseminating information via posters, social media, internal announcements, and monitoring public feedback.

CREATIVE WRITING AND PUBLICATIONS
This division is responsible for producing both creative and formal written content, including newsletters, magazines and official faculty infographic publications. It also encompasses the editing and design of high-quality publications intended for both internal and external audiences, ensuring that all materials align with the faculty’s corporate identity.
